Banking Kids

Banking Kids -Teaching Financial Literacy is designed as a teaching tool in a classroom or at home.

In a society based on money, it makes sense that children grasp the concepts of handling money (Financial  Literacy). Using multimedia,  Banking Kids teaches the basic concepts of budgeting, saving and banking. Planning a budget with goals and saving to meet those goals, using banks, provides a base for lifelong financial security.

Banking Kids teaches children how to deposit and withdraw money from a savings account while sticking to a budget. It then introduces them to checking accounts by showing them how to write a check properly and how to deposit funds. The emphasis here is placed on maintaining a check register. Banking Kids goes on to teach the child how to do a bank statement reconciliation.

To further enhance Financial Literacy, Banking Kids introduces the child to basic ATM functions.
