Publisher Description
I met Barack Obama in March of 2003 when he was an Illinois State Senator. He was a featured speaker at an anti-war rally that took place in downtown Chicago just prior to the U.S. invasion of Iraq. Having a stage pass, I had a prime vantage point for his speech. He had a handwritten nametag on his lapel. I met him and shook his hand afterward. Needless to say, I was impressed. Somehow I knew he was destined for great things. Little did I know I would play a very small part in his journey.
