Barbarians in Paradise / Terror Comes to Maui

In the early 2020s the world is mired in deep recession. Maui's economy has tanked and the resulting stresses expose the island's corrupt rulers as brutal tyrants who want to turn the island into an exclusive playground for the global elite.
