Another hit by Juliette Poe!!!
I can't believe how many times I laughed while reading this book!!! This whole series is adorably sweet and funny, but this has to be the best one yet!!!
Laken is fiercely independent, slightly broken, and snarky as all get out!!! I freaking loved her!!! And, how can one man be so perfect!!! Jake was incredible!!! I can't say too much without giving things away and ruining the story for others, but... I'll say this, never has a male character pushed so many of the right buttons. This guy... sigh!!!
Juliette Poe has another hit on her hands!!!

I've enjoyed this series, so far, but Jake and Laken were by far my favorite! I loved it from beginning to end and didn't want to put it down! Jake may be my new favorite book boyfriend!
Sex, Sweet-Tea and Shenanigans
Barking Up the Wrong Tree is the 3rd in a series...however, can be read as a standalone as well. Loved this sexy, cute and romantic book by Juliette Poe. Laken is a small town girl from Whynot, NC - she's had the big city life before and not interested in any of it...then...oh yes, then... she meets Mr. Ex-football player, big city first time farm owner a/k/a Mr. Jake McDaniel. He buys a farm - that comes with animals and hilarity of the animals throughout the book had me laughing out loud on several occasions. Laken is the small town vet and Mr. McDaniel needs her assistance since he knows absolutely nothing about what he's doing regarding animals. The series - Sex and Sweet Tea is about the shenanigans of the Mancinkus family (brothers and sister). I can't wait for the next book and adventure with the Mancinkus shenanigans. Enjoy!
