Barrington High School

To serve a diverse student population, Barrington High School delivers innovative programs supporting a wide spectrum of instruction, including a business incubator; mobile apps iOS development; fine, dramatic, and musical theatre arts; and the award-winning BHS-TV video production studio. A recently implemented blended learning program allows students to experience a variety of courses as they personalize the time, place, path, and pace of their learning. The district’s “One to World” one-to-one technology device program provides students 24/7 access to devices and facilitates creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking. The school’s mission is to develop in students a love for life-long learning, the ability to think critically, communicate clearly, and take risks willingly to realize their potential. Barrington High School is a public school located forty miles northwest of Chicago and serves approximately 3,000 students from twelve suburban villages.
