Starts Great
The last few years comics publishers have gotten away from dedicated graphic novels and limited series that are good so now we end up with collections of published issues. That is what this is and just as the first of three sets of three issues gets good it ends. All in all this was an OK collection but a reminder of why I don’t really keep up on the latest Batman stuff any more; I just don’t think it is worth the time and money.
A dark, near-hallucinatory masterpiece!
As awesome as Court of Owls was, this blows it out of the water. And I don't say that easily. Scott Snyder is an absolute genius. Very possibly one of the ten best Batman stories ever written. Grade: A+
