A love that happened when he was a protector for her father. He took a career advantage, she was young. Now he is back she doesn’t need him. The heartstrings say otherwise. A delightful series I enjoy reading of second chances, will the time be right this time. Given ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion

I LOVED this book! This is book #3 in this series. While you can read and understand the story between the two main characters without reading the prior ones, there are some underlying issues that run throughout the series. I would highly recommend reading the others first.
Ms. Shay creates wonderful stories and beautifully crafts each scene at draw me into and fully engage with the characters. Zeke and Hannah have been a story that I have been looking for since they were first mentioned. There were times when I could have slapped both of them upside of the head! That is what Ms. Shay does. She brings out such intense emotions like I am the one going through the situations along with her characters.
The connection between Zeke and Hannah is intense and hot. I couldn't turn the pages fast enough to see what was going to happen next. Then I realized that I really needed to re-read some sections as they were just so good that I didn't want to leave.
I love the inclusion of a secondary couple to this book as well. I felt like I was reading two books at the same time. I can't wait for the next book in this series!
Loved this book!
I absolutely loved this book and could not put it down. There was a lot of angst between Hannah and Zeke. What would you do if the love of your life suddenly showed up 15 years later? Zeke leaves his job and becomes the Mayor’s security as someone seems to be targeting her. Zeke is willing to rearrange his life for Hannah and it becomes quite a journey on the way to forgiveness. Hannah’s parents also have issues to resolve with Zeke as well as with each other. This 5 star read was great and leaves you wanting more of this family.
