"Is it done?" I ask, staring at my stepbrother, Marcum, and he nods.

"But there's a problem." Because of f*cking course, there is, when isn't there?

"What now?" It's hard to maintain my cool.

"This." Marcum pulls a girl out from behind his huge f*cking body. "She saw everything."

I drop back into my chair, not knowing whether to laugh or rage. "And what do you plan to do with her now?" Always another damn problem.

"Please don't kill me," the girl-woman begs, big emerald-green eyes filled with tears, lips trembling, and body shaking.
