Drawing on key moments from Jesus’s journey to the cross, Tom Berlin, a bishop in The United Methodist Church, and Rachel Billups, senior pastor of New Albany United Methodist Church in New Albany, Ohio, show how Christ models a resilience that is not self-reliance but grace. Week by week, the study traces six dimensions of that resilient way: faith that stays steady in uncertainty, hope that refuses despair, love that endures rejection, courage that stands firm in fear, community that sustains us in sorrow, and joy that rises again in resurrection.
