Mel, Sara, Annie and Lola head out to Wild Dunes, a beachfront palace owned by Lola's super-rich husband on exclusive Whale Head Island in North Carolina's Outer Banks. Spacy Lola is miserably married and leans heavily on medication to deal with her husband's manipulations. Obsessive-compulsive Annie still broods over a college fling with a married professor even though she's got a great husband. Charmingly southern
Beautifully written, the stories of these four friends moving back and forth in time, with the certainty of a happy future for all. I enjoyed every word!

A story to take you back, bring you forwards and the need to focus on happiness now and in the future. You can never heal without laughter and tears.

I loved this book! There were so many twists and turns. Surprises. I have to read it again right now so I can see everything in a truthful light. Very enjoyable!
