Evangeline hasn’t had an easy life. She grew up with the love of her grandmother, but her mother was another story. She became a Harkness at the age of 15. She says it was the best year of her life. Her mother came and got her then life became hell. With her escape, she runs into Ethan who she had a crush on when she was younger. Ethan is a volunteer firefighter and good guy that has always felt better being at the Harkness Farm. At first, he’s not sure who she other than she’s in trouble, but he’s willing to protect her. Circumstances come to light and he figures out who she is. Together they overcome obstacles that would take down the feint of heart.

Ethan was working the Christmas shift at the Firehouse when Evangeline, a Harkness daughter who has been gone for many a year, was on her way home. She has been literally fighting for every mile. She knocked on the door and it was Ethan, home. He didn't recognize her, but he let her use the facilities, take a hot shower, and brought her some of the chilli, it was heaven.
He finally recognized her. The more they talked the more they figured out they belonged together. She needed him to know about what her mom did when she took her away. Then a wolf came in for a fight. Ethan got one of his heavy fireman tools and told him to leave. Evangeline did not want him there so neither did he. He left after he had his say. Ethan did good seeing his first critters.
What did the wolf want? What happened to her during all these years? I volunteered to review this ARC book using entirely my own opinion.

What a Phenomenal read. Once again Tasha Black has given us a wonderful Christmas story that's such a touching story of love, romance and friendship. The characters are witty, loving, strong and they all share intriguing backgrounds. It's about how even troubled kids needs love and their sense of family that gives them help with love. Evangeline is a bear shifter that came to Kate Harkness for help, and alone with Kate, Gloria Cortez help these unique kids at least for 300 moons. Gloria’s role isn't important as Kate’s. Gloria would hold the children and sing them a song that has the magic to help them, but the magic has a price they each have to pay. Ethan Chambers lives next door to Harkness farm even through his family is well off he wishes that he was a part of his best friend family. Ethan becomes a Volunteer firefighter that makes him a very likable guy around town, but he is very lonely. Evangeline escapes from a secret research facility. She wants to get to Harkness farm to get help from Kate Harkness. But a snowstorm hits Tarker’s Hollow, and Evangeline needs a warm place to stay. This is a 5 star fantastic story.

This is another steamy romance by Tasha Black that I have read and I love it! What a amazing book about love, strength, and fighting for something you never thought you could have. The story is very emotional! A great holiday story for the heart! Full of laughter, romance and also the beauty of discovering love where you never expected it. This will definitely be one of my favorites. If you are looking for a great holiday story to lose yourself in, then I would read this one. I loved and enjoyed the characters and the book. I'm a hopeless romantic and this book gave me romance and so much more. Bear This! (A 300 Moons Book) is a steamy standalone paranormal romance! This is a great book to add to your TBR list. I'm so excited about reading another book written by Tasha Black and I would recommend this book to everyone.
