Michael West, a lawyer and graduate from a top ten law school, tells you what you need to know as a law school applicant, as a law student, and as a young associate. West provides you with all the information you need before you apply to law school and once you get there. Compiled from the experiences of law students in 2005-2010 and current lawyers, the strategies in this book enable students to avoid the mistakes that popular law school guides advocate. By focusing on what the other law school guides don't tell you, West puts you in complete control of your legal education.

Great way to help an anxious prospective law student
I really like how the author helps ease the tension with law school. Mr. West combats a lot of the “advice” that is given to prospective law students and the complete “difference” between law school and undergrad. This book however, is extremely biased therefore, read it with a grain of salt. The conclusion was a bit absurd as when he gets into the “do nots”. In conclusion this book was very interesting and helped ease some of my stress on starting law school in a few months.
