Intriguing!!!! Can’t wait for more!!
I absolutely LOVED the first book in the series so couldn’t wait to jump into this one!
This book was definitely setting the stage and building up to the next installment! Alexei was just as intriguing! There was SO much push and pull between him and Alina!! There wasn’t a lot of action, but more interactions between them! And LOTS of steam!!!
Alexei is ALL alpha when it comes to Alina! He is VERY protective of her at every turn (reminder this is a dark romance)! Alina is trying to wade her way through her new existence, one she has been fighting for years!
There will definitely be another book so it does end on a cliffhanger! This didn’t bother me as I love the anticipation of what’s to come! Can’t wait for the next book and to see them open up to each other!
PS: I loved Ruslan in this book!

Love Alexei but 3rd book is not out!
Love Alexei but Alina’s wish-washy mind is beginning to drive me mad. It’s super clear he loves her and is devoting his life to her and she constantly acts like a spoiled child.
Fair warning! I usually don’t start a series until it is complete. Somehow this one slipped past me and book #3 is no where near ready for release. I read so many books, I will have forgotten their story long before the 3rd book arrives, likely choosing not to finish the series.

This is the second book in the Molotov Betrothal series, and it picks up where the first book left off. Alina is doing her best to deal with her new reality as the wife of Alexei and they are off on a yacht away from the world. These two have what would be categorized as a contentious relationship. However, the time they are forced to spend together has some things shifting but it is two steps forward, three steps back. When all is said and done here, there are some surprises that Ms. Zaires has thrown into the mix that will have readers clamoring for the next book. In comparison with some of the author’s other series, this one is a little slower but after a fashion picks up steam and I look forward to seeing where the journey takes these two.
