…ending?
This book was amazing until it wasn’t. I love an unreliable narrator but I find myself disappointed when I’m left w/o an ending. The last few chapters felt like they had to be wrapped up quickly and the book doesn’t really end or I’m not clear on the ending … it is quite possible I just don’t get it but it is odd to be staying up late and enjoying every detail and character build and running out of hours in the day only to return the next to find yourself feeling like the writing style was rushed and hardly resembles the rest of the book.
Jumped the Shark
A good premise, But as with many books landing, the plane was more difficult in the end. I just didn’t really believe the story. We came a little too fanciful for me, but I did enjoy the read.
So disappointing.
Terrible plot. Was hoping the ending would wow me at the very least to make up for it. But - terrible ending, too.
