Not a great story for girls.
Some of the situations Belle finds herself in reminded me of an abusive relationship. She is pursued by the beast when he thinks she is going to leave him and tracked down. Then she is locked up in the dungeon so she couldn't sneak away again. He also seems to have a violent temperament. Once the beast figures out he was wrong he goes down to let her out. She quickly accepts his apology and even assumes some of the blame. It's a bad image for young girls who are learning about relationships and how men and women should treat each other. I am disappointed in Disney and have deleted the book.

When I read a sample, I couldn’t touch the other page in the start of the story. Not even the words. Fix it please!
