Well done
I am not normally into paranormal or shape shifting, but I made an exception here because it works. I really loved both the princess and the beast, and how their relationship grew. It felt entirely natural. Perhaps the only confusing thing is why the neighboring kingdoms seem to know essentially nothing about each other while still being only within a days or so ride of each other... It’s a forgivable plot hole because it’s so tiny in the midst of a beautiful story. Beaty and the Best is hard to do right, and this one is well done!

It’s a mix between fairy tale and highland historical romance. It is a lovely story with interesting characters.
Absolutely wonderful
Read this all within just a few hours. A beautifully written book with lovable characters and a bit of the usual beauty-and-the-beast angst, though the story is nothing like the Beauty and the Beast most people are most familiar with. I’m so glad I took a chance on this series.
