Stunning
The tale of Michael and Hayden continue. Grief is messy and gritty and it makes you someone different. It doesn't make sense and yet it does all the same. Jordan explores the grief of a parent, the true love of the parental bond regardless of DNA and the power of acceptance and forgiveness. Some reviews will say it was too slow and drawn out, but as a grieving parent I appreciated that the most. The author took time to explore the emotions when many authors today do not do that. I devoured every word and it's a story will always remember. Speechless and utterly spellbound by these characters.
