Publisher Description
In 2018 I was given with a life-changing Parkinson's diagnosis. After the initial shock, I refused to let it define me. This is my story of how I ran 948 miles from John O'Groats to Land's End and then, on top of that, I ran from London to Barcelona. I discovered that being diagnosed with Parkinson's was tough, but it's not the end of the world. I don't hold back as I reveal the life events that made me the stubborn, resilient person I've now become. There's the gruelling training sessions, diet and daily routine necessary to run a combined seventy-one back-to-back marathons, run across a mountain range in temperatures touching forty-two degrees. I wanted to demonstrate that there is life after a Parkinson's diagnosis and that age is just a number. Why? Because I still can.
