She and Josiah have found a new rhythm, co-parenting their two kids and running a thriving business together. Yet like magnets, they’re always drawn back to each other, and now they’re beginning to wonder if they’re truly ready to let go of everything they once had.

Soon, one stolen kiss leads to another…and then more. It's hot. It's illicit. It's all good—until old wounds reopen. Is it too late for them to find forever? Or could they even be better, the second time around?

Must read best book of 2022

An emotional powerhouse of a story written with such care and grace. By turns sweet, devastating, hopeful and triumphant, Kennedy Ryan is a master storyteller.

Love Wins

This was an excellent story about how hard it can be to love and lose. Josiah and Yasmen built a life together and a thriving business, but in the midst of building their lives together, they suffered great tragedies that cost them almost everything, including their sanity. I liked how the book was told from both of their perspectives. It really showcases how differently people think and react when they are faced with life changing things. This book also covers the importance of therapy, particularly in the lives of Black Americans, who in the past, felt like therapy was not necessary. This is a love story and you will find yourself rooting for this couple to win at love.
