This is the seminal book to have about faith through Jesus to God
I got this book a year ago from having been a Christian for 6 years. I've followed Answers in Genesis for that entire time and even visited the Creation Museum in 06. What is great about the book is that it shows you about how perfect a creation it was 6,000 years ago (October 23-29, 4004 B.C., Genesis 1-2, James Ussher, Annals of the World, Big Book of History) The corruption of the fall three days later led to evil, death and suffering the human race faces since then (November 1, 4,004 B.C, Genesis 3) Catastrophe (2448 B.C. - 2347 B.C., Genesis 6-9, James Ussher, Annals of the World, Big Book of History) shows how completely evil the world can get and that God destroyed the world that was with earthquake, volcanos, and flood because of it while saving the eight righteous people of Noah's family on the ark. Confusion (2242 B.C., Genesis 10-11, James Ussher, Annals of the World, Big Book of history) shows where humans genetic lineage comes from and the formation of languages and nations across the world. This paves the way for part of the law (Exodus 20:1-11) to show humans what God expects and how far we fail on a daily basis. Christ (John) shows how much he loves us and fulfilled the law for us to be saved. Cross (Romans) shows how to live apart from the law.Consummation (Revelation 21-22) shows the ending of the curse brought on by Adam and the New Heavens (Universe) and New Earth that will never end. Thus completing God's plan for mankind. It is an invaluable resource for anyone starting out in faith (John 17:3, Romans 10:9) because it is the only one that starts at the beginning of the Bible. I highly recommend it.
