Beginning Guitarist
Joseph Alexander's books came recommended from a colleague and when I began to look through the titles, I saw he had written one for beginner guitar lessons. Having been a self-taught guitarist, I thought this book would be a perfect fit. Well, this book didn't disappoint. I wanted to ensure that I have the proper guitar fundamentals while I continue to pick up new skills. Joseph's approach sets the stage for a lifetime of continual guitar skill building. Paying attention to strumming, keeping time (using a metronome) and chord basics has made me realize components that I need to factor into my everyday practice routines.
