It was okay
Even though Noah and Shannen’s story is different from Braxton and Cara from Swinging Strike, it was quite long and depressing. Sure like always why Noah acts differently toward Shannen because she’s his best friend’s little sister and he wanted to keep his real feelings at bay to honor the bro code no dating teammates’ sisters but as usual their mutual attraction becomes too irresistible to ignore. Even though Noah had a health issue that he didn’t want to talk about to Shannen or Braxton and briefly broke up with Shannen thinking he didn’t want to be a burden if he got much sicker if he had what his late dad had, I thought it was a little exhausting that I had force myself to continue to read every single chapter. Unfortunately I didn’t find this particular forbidden romance with your best friend’s sister fun or intrigued to read. I thought it was okay.
