Heart-Wrenching and Heart-Warming Heroism
The story of Bella's life thus far turns upside down every pop culture message we receive that elevates self-love as the ultimate good. Rick and Karen Santorum's suffering has revealed to them, and now to us, the truest of all truths: we are all helpless, dependent, and eternal souls in need if supernatural love. I am in awe of Bella and recognize her unique capacity to teach her family and anyone who opens their heart this lesson. Thanks be to God for the Santorum's strength in sharing their story!
