Addison fell into solving cold cases when victims started appearing to her. Her complicated family history comes to bear on her most recent case as she tries to help a little girl find peace that has eluded her for decades. What she finds has the potential to change her life as well as the afterlives of several spirits.
I wanted to like this book because the premise intrigued me. Then I read a section of the book where the character jumped from one scene to another with no necessary explanation how. Then a major shift in her character happens toward the end of this book that leads me to believe there can’t be any real mystery in any subsequent novel.
