PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
Bestselling author Coble (Sunset Cove series) elevates her already-considerable suspense chops with this second book of the Rock Harbor series. Dana, a 911 dispatcher, decides to start a new life in Rock Harbor, Mich. after her ex-fianc transforms from a charming, stand-up veteran to a raging lunatic who tries to drown her over nothing more than a dinner he didn't like. With her dog, Phantom, she heads home to Michigan's rural Upper Peninsula and straight to her brother's house, where he says she's welcome to stay as long as she wants. There, life begins seamlessly as she starts a new job as a dispatcher. But then the past is back on her doorstep: one of her first calls comes from Garret, her ex, who has managed to track her down. Though she talks tough, she is seriously frightened and begins to rely heavily on her brother and new friend Boone for advice and support. As Garret continues to pursue, a web of conflicts arises that will keep readers guessing until the very end.

BENEATH COPPER FALLS
BENEATH. COPPER. FALLS by Colleen Coble # 6 in the Rock Harbor series. By Thomas Nelson Publishers
A military ball, with her brother. Chris, is when she met Garret. 9 months ago she fell in love with him and now he terrified her
Dana worked as an emergency dispatch working nights. Leaving for upper peninsula in Michigan and working with search and rescue dogs. He found her that night before she could leave. Boone has cabins in the upper peninsula of Michigan taking guests out for a day of salmon fishing. His cousin Allison, come's saying there has been another killing like his sister Renee. Both killed night before wedding, by drowning, to have had honeymoon in Jamaica.. Dana mets Boone, a friend of her brother, former Smoke Jumper, Has scars from being burnt, but why so touchy. Talking with Allison and Bree of what happened to her and what Garret did to her. Has them all wondering the similarities of the killer. Will Garret seek Chris out to find and finish the job on Dana, figuring that's where she would go. Or is there another person as the killer. Dana feels he might but she has friends that care about her, here. A gripping thriller, of someone you think you know and how quickly they changed.
Realizing it's not the outer looks to be concerned about, but what the inner thoughts we portray that counts. Where to go, how to once and for all change the situation, so you could have a life again. Great story for all will enjoy. Given ARC by Net Galley for my voluntary review and my honest opinion.
