Emotional and Heart-Wrenching
Even though Conner and Ella’s love story started a little slow but sweet & somewhat hot since their short introductory prequel Bite the Ice, it became full circle in this emotional, heart-wrenching and triumphant college romance that had my heart strings tugged with anticipation whether if they were going to remain together after Conner was injured during a hockey championship that derailed the rest of his college hockey season. I’ve always liked Conner and Ella’s journey during this hockey romance collection. I really enjoyed reading it even though it took a while to finish reading it all the way through.
