And then a television program. And this went on for 25 minutes every week from 1950-1990. That is, for forty years. And for forty years he was the most successful, funniest and kindest person of all... How did it happen that a bucket of slop was poured on Benny Hill after his death? And who are the people who, by all indications, should have thanked him! In any case, he remains the funniest and most successful filmmaker of the post-war forty years.
