Publisher Description

This book for young readers is written in Gaeilge/Irish using photographs, video, audio, text, and interactive sound buttons.  Tiúilipí was written by James O'Connor, a native Irish speaker from Spiddal, Galway.  This series of children's books came about because James wanted to teach his young daughter the Irish language.  The book was reviewed by an editor credited by the Séala Creidiúnaithe d'Eagarthóirí,  a Foras na Gaeilge accreditation system for editors in the Irish language.    In  Tiúilipí, a little girl named Bernadette plants and cultivates a flower garden.  The book has an Irish-English glossary and includes literacy based learning activities to help make learning Irish fun for all ages.

This book is part of a series designed to support parents to read Irish at home with their children.  According to research,  reading aloud is the single most important activity for building the knowledge required for eventual success in reading.

O'Connor Interactive publishes Irish language learning books to help families encourage the use of the Irish language from an early age.
