So many emotions are woven into this story. My kids loved learning the vocabulary of different emotions, and it gave us a chance to look closely at the illustrations and talk about what those feelings look like—especially for the little ones. We also loved seeing Bernie finally receive all the love he needed, and how he returns that love by bringing so much joy to the whole family. 🐾💛
