"By turns humorous and heartbreaking, Best Kind Of Broken has become one of my favorites!" -- Cora Carmack, New York Times bestselling author

SOMETIMES MOVING ON MEANS MOVING IN

Pixie Marshall wishes every day she could turn back time and fix the past. But she can't. And the damage is done. She's hoping that a summer of free room and board working with her aunt at the Willow Inn will help her forget. Except there's a problem: the resident handyman is none other than Levi Andrews. The handsome quarterback was once her friend-and maybe more-until everything changed in a life-shattering instant. She was hoping to avoid him, possibly forever. Now he's right down the hall and stirring up feelings Pixie thought she'd long buried . . .

Levi can't believe he's living with the one person who holds all his painful memories. More than anything he wants to make things right, but a simple "sorry" won't suffice-not when the tragedy that scarred them was his fault. Levi knows Pixie's better off without him, but every part of him screams to touch her, protect her, wrap her in his arms, and kiss away the pain. Yet even though she's so close, Pixie's heart seems more unreachable than ever. Seeing those stunning green eyes again has made one thing perfectly clear-he can't live without her.

Geat start to a new series!!

This story has several stories inside a main story. It keeps you riveted and excited! I read it so fast and could not put it down - literally stayed up all night finishing it!

Sarah (Pixie, to her close friends) has a deep and meaningful history with Levi. They grew up together, he protected her, and she found a home and family in his house. Where his sister was the glue that kept it together - until last year - when her tragic death ripped all that was good apart.

Sarah and Levi, now work together at the Inn her aunt owns. Both away from college and both unsure about their return to it. Levi because he had failed classes, Sarah because she may go to New York instead.

This story was so well done. Levi needed every moment with Sarah. Sarah needed him to breathe the air easier. Their being friends again is so necessary that when it all comes together - she is willing to give up a future in his arms - just to have that friendship back.

So touching, very sincere, and amazingly simple in the fact that this book is explained so that even those who have never felt tragedy will feel with Sarah and Levi. He is so fierce in his protection of her that his love comes across early on. She runs away from happiness and commitment and you wonder, can she ever get there?

So good!

After being an avid book reader, this by-far, hands-down one of the best books I've read. This book is so amazing. I love this book.

A new favorite!

I love this so much. It might even be my favorite new adult book ever. Pixie and Levi are both great characters. They made me laugh and cry and swoon. I was swept up in this book from the very beginning and I could not stop reading until I hit the end. I can't wait for the next book!
