Fun Read

I enjoyed Best Murder in Show as a free book but am ready to buy the second in the series. The village characters were delightful. The plot, while unlikely in apprehension of the guilty party, was entertaining. I saw a couple of negative reviews and was rather surprised. Yes, the first couple of chapters where the author introducted several characters with just a name and perhaps position within the village seemed a bit confusing, but I simply made a list and in just a few more chapters recognized that my list wasn’t necessary. No, it’s not a literary masterpiece, but it’s a fun, light read - just as a cozy novel should be.

Best murder in show

I enjoyed everything about this story, especially the lovely lead character. The author really has created such a warm, affectionate view of a small English village and its residents, I felt transported. Such a fun read!!
