Mr. M K Parthasarathy is a journalist-cum-litterateur. Born and bred in Chennai he has served as correspondent for Mirror Today and Crime Witness and, later as Chief Correspondent, South India for Security Controls. He has also worked as an associate editor for Prince & Princess, a children’s monthly. In addition, his true crime cases have come out in Detective Digest & Crime World magazines, too. Mr. Parthasarathy has written over 90 books on all subjects for children and edited about a thousand books. Apart from this, more than 170 original short stories and serial novels of his have appeared in 14 leading English magazines in India and abroad. Mr. Parthasarathy was also the first writer from the Indian subcontinent to join the high-profile International Crime Writer’s Association, London in 1986.
