Olivia Brent has one summer to save the dairy farm she just inherited.
But there’s one problem, and it’s not her lactose intolerance.
The brooding farmhand has inherited exactly fifty percent of Brent Farm, and he’s so convinced the city girl can’t work the land, he bets she can’t save it in a summer.
Determined to prove him wrong, Olivia accepts what might be the dumbest wager of her life.
His strategy to win seems simple: follow her around, shirtlessly distracting her between bouts of relentless taunting. And it’s effective—if his dark eyes and rare smiles aren’t enough to sidetrack her, the sweaty, rolling topography of the manbeast’s body would do the trick.
What they don’t know: they’ll have to weather more than each other.
Mysterious circumstances throw the farm into disarray, and with the dairy farm in danger, Olivia and Jake have to work together. But when they do, there’s more to fear than either of them imagined.
Because now their hearts are on the line, and the farm won’t be the only casualty if they fail.

Bet the Farm is everything and more I expect from Staci Hart . It’s absolutely adorable , fun and emotionally satisfying. From the mesmerizing writing to relatable characters this book was everything. I loved Olivia and Jake . Olivia moves back after her grandfather’s death to take care of the farm . She finds out her grandfather left the farm to both Jake and Olivia. Jake was the perfect grumpy hero . He was not expecting Olivia to stick around. It was such a fun read . I loved everything about this story. Don’t miss this fun and captivating story.
Loved this book
I laughed, I cried and I fully enjoyed this book from beginning to end. Olivia is heading home after the passing of her grandfather. She is hoping to be able to take over the farm and make it profitable again. Jake has lived on the farm for years and was like a son the Olivia’s grandfather. He is pretty closed off and doesn’t trust easily. He is mad at Olivia for not coming home sooner for her grandfather as he loved him like his own. The two definitely but heads a lot. They slowly start to build a relationship and work together. Of course you can’t have a good love story without some drama as well. These two have a lot to face and things that the need to say to each other in order to get their happy ending. I really liked this read a lot and look forward to more from this author.
You’ll be dreaming of your own farm by chapter 3
I love farm books. Maybe it’s my own upbringing and current lifestyle that makes these types fun to read, that there can be romance in a conventional setting that makes it so perfect.
These characters are EVERYTHING. I love Livi’s optimism, her spirit and joy for life was infection and wonderful to watch. Jake was the perfect grouchy farm turned soft with love and I swooned for him so hard.
Staci Hart has a gift and it’s one that—thank goodness— keeps on giving.
