Fantastic
I love all her books. She makes you fall in love with the characters. Makes you laugh and cry. Love the main characters and the Merry Widows. I would go to the coffee shop and listen to them too. Want them to meet the red hat ladies.
Betrayal Road
Feehan has great stories. She does a pretty darn good job of developing her characters and plot. But it seems like a great deal of the story is filler. Too wordy, too much repetition, too much sex (as in page after page after page). I’d rather a story be plot driven than sexcapades driven. Sexy scenes are wonderful. But too much detail and I start thinking, does that even work? That’s when the writing loses me and I start skipping pages until I find the end of the sexual frenzy.
I love the Torpedo Ink stories; but I’m just about done. I’m getting really burned out on the sex. Too much and too graphic.
Not great
The redundancy of how unworthy he is and how perfect she is was monotonous. Get on with it. Sorry, can’t read anymore of her
“Club” nonsense, they are just bad.
