The info in this book truly works.
I came across this book in the early 1970’s, at the time I had a really bad case of astigmatism. When I would look at the Television without my glasses I could only see the form of a persons face, I couldn’t see their features, glasses, earrings, it was as if they where not there. Outside I couldn’t make out the letters on a Stop sign from even 20 feet away. When I looked at the electric lines with the three secondary lines the were just one wire instead of three. And I started applying the Dr. Bates methods. The palming and at the same time relaxing the voluntary muscles, and the relaxing is difficult because we get so used to our eyes being in a strain. I’m almost positive that there was a full chapter on Sunning your eyes, I lent my book to someone and never got it back, have bought several since and they have at best about one paragraph on sunning, which really works well but it’s enough info for you to be successful with sunning. Then because it took me from being legally blind to being able to see everything clearly, increased depth perception, and what a thrill that experience was and still is. I’ve heard many people say this book is nonsense, and that’s just not true, this doctor should have gotten more credit for his honest sharing with this information to the general public,the fact that it’s info is not more widely known and used is sickening.
