Reuniting Best Friends
I totally enjoyed reading Betting on the Bodyguard by Julie Leto, the second book in her Kiss and Tell series. This story reunites childhood friends Serena Deveraux and Brandon Chase as they are forced together by well meaning friends and relatives. Brandon taking charge to make sure Serena is safe allows for them to spend time together and rediscover the attraction and chemistry they once had as teens. It also allowed them to have some sexy time as they act on that chemistry.
This was a sexy, fun, and entertaining story with very likeable and authentic characters. Ms. Leto is an excellent story teller capturing the reader in the web of this story based in New Orleans. I enjoyed reading this book and highly recommend this book to other readers.
