Great story and even better author!
You won’t want to miss any story in this series but this one is my favorite so far. All, so far are impeccably well written with no typos except this for this one that made me laugh out loud. “She hung the kettle over the flame, poked up the fire, and set the cast-iron girdle in the embers to heat.” A cast iron girdle is priceless and every woman would love to cast theirs into the fire! Thank you, Ms Trethewey for your wonderful stories and character development. I can’t wait to read Magnus’ story. Brava!

Wonderful story and characters. The thing that sets it apart are the funny interactions between the characters. Had me laughing out loud even with all the excitement of the story. You will love each of the men the author creates.

If you love heroine s that are too stupid to live, create all their own drama and still come our smelling like a rose, this is your book. I’ll read one more, if it’s more of the same, I’ll not read another.
