Beyond A To B

Two principal reasons prompted the author to write this book.  The first was a concern for people who venture into the Australian wilderness with little if any navigational knowledge and find themselves disorientated and lost.  This, of course, may lead to dire circumstances and possible death.  The one thing recovery teams don’t want to find is a dead body.

The second reason is to encourage people to explore the great unknown but do it safely and incrementally as their knowledge and skills increase.  This concise introductory volume introduces four necessary skills; Positional Awareness; Map and Compass Skills; GPS Handheld Devices; In-vehicle Navigational Applications.

Using these skills and other topics covered in the book, not only will you prepare yourself to venture into the great unknown, but by doing so, you may discover something about yourself.
