Good characters
Beyond Perfect is the second book in Kathryn Shay’s Wounded Heroes series. Jackson and Maisy are the main characters in this story. Jackson created a school for at risk young boys and Maisy is one of the teachers. They work hard to ignore their mutual attraction until they can no longer ignore it but they have a lot to work through before they can find their happy ending. The interaction with the boys is interesting and well written. I look forward to reading more about Jackson and Maisy in the future books in this series.
