Beyond the Peat Marsh Road centers on the main character, Steven (Fekete) Black, a successful architect in Toronto who wishes to sell the family farm that his reclusive mother, Maria Fekete refuses to concede to the powerful industrialist, Don Williams. Mysteriously a sudden interest emerges by land speculators for properties surrounding the polluted Fekete farm.
