When people came to Pastor Chuck distraught and heartbroken, seeking his counsel for their personal dilemma, he simply replied, The best thing I can do is give you God s Word rather than my own thoughts or opinions.
When you need guidance, when man s counsel has left you confused and discouraged, go to the Word of God because God has already given you His counsel.

Biblical counseling made easy
This book does not replace the leading of the Holy Spirit; however, it's a great resource to have at your fingertips.
Compared to other similar titles, like The Quick Scripture Reference For Counseling by John G. Kruis and The Calvary Chapel Scripture Reference Guide, Biblical Counseling has everything those books have BUT more—Pastor Chuck's commentaries just break down the Word for me. Also the scripture references are easy to find because they are categorized (promises, application, etc.) rather than all bunched together.
I would think everyone involved in ministry, every church employee would benefit from having this downloaded on their phone so that when, not if, that moment comes to help another person, they have it at their fingertips, quick and easy to use. It truly deserves 5 stars!
