Biblical Practices of Healing

We speak of "biblical times" as if it is a bygone era, something that occurred in times past. But the truth of the matter is that we are living in "biblical times" right now and there is no more timely need than the present for us to learn and integrate into our ministry as chaplains and health care providers Biblical Practices of Healing. Despite the practices of healing described in the Bible though, in chaplaincy there is often an emphasis on clinical and extra-biblical resources in providing spiritual care to the sick to the exclusion of biblical practices. The need is so great in our patients today that chaplains and health care providers cannot afford to fail to utilize every promise of God's truth in their ministry. The reader will see that today there continues to be a growing body of scientific and theological knowledge that confirms biblical practices related to healing.
