Binary Mixed Equations

This is one of 50 plus instructional packets currently available from the Technology Preparatory Program (Tech-PreP).  These packets are being designed to provide students with a basic to more advance level of preparation to enter into the study of modern technologies within the K-16 systems of education.



This lesson teaches students about a new math problem format, which cottons a mixture of binary and decimal numbers, Binary Mixed Equation.  Copyrights and patents are pending.  



The lesson packet was designed as a practice vehicle to allow students to apply what they learned about the binary to decimal conversion process in Lesson 10  and what they already know about solving equation to practice solving Binary Mixed Equations.  



The Base Two Numbers system represents the ABCs of the today's technologies and should play a big role in all K-16 math programs. 

 

Lessons to Come - The sample of this lesson includes a list of the lesson objectives of all the packets being offered in this module.  I've used the operational experiences I gained while serving in the USAF as a supervisor and trainer of Signals Analysts to create a series of self directed and connective lesson that will gradually build upon a student's current understanding of their Technical world, while increasing their ability to focus on detail, follow directions and in increasing their deductive reasoning skills.
