BIRDS FROM OUR AFRICAN SAFARIS

We fell in love with Africa many years ago and have been holidaying there frequently over the past two decades. At first it was golf that took us there, with the odd safari included. Gradually more time was spent on safari where we developed a love of wildlife photography.


In more recent times photography has become the focal point of our travel. We have benefited greatly by being accompanied on safari by some outstanding wildlife photographers. Particularly Pam & Wayne Osborn and Shem Compton & Andre Cloete from C4Photographic Safaris. 


This book is simply a collection of photos we have taken during our African safaris. The photos are in no particular order but we have attempted to identify the bird and place it around the camp in which we stayed, together with the year we were there. Apologies to any experts if any of the identities are incorrect.


I hope you enjoy looking through the book as much as we have enjoyed taking the photos and we hope this stirs an interest in you to pick up your camera “go on safari”.
