Bits and Pieces

The author shares Mark Twains belief that most of life is boring and only its highlights should be inflicted on strangers. So these Bits and Pieces offer idiosyncratic glimpses of a lifetimes passages, peaks and valleys told in a variety of media. They include poetry, from sonnets to haiku, short stories, snippets of easily digested professional writing and prose vignettes. Some topics are tragic, some spiritual, some serious and others humorous. A few have appeared in medical or paramedical publications but most are virginal.
