Ann Rule is my favorite true crime author and this is one of her best. The only thing disappointing about this book is that there are no photos.

Ann Rule, as always, was the grande dame of true crime. The story of Bitter Harvest is riveting,shocking, sad and infuriating. Ms. Rule’s psychological insight and character development of the principals in the story are masterful. I highly recommend this to fans of the true crime genre.
