Do you love me? She asked.

Yes, he said, I love you as much as the rainbow.

Why the rainbow, she asked, with her brows raised?

“It’s because our love is as lovely as a rainbow,” he replied, smiling.

“How?” she asked, laughing.

He was enjoying this and continued smiling.

He replied - it’s because our love is as colourful and bright as a rainbow.

It’s so beautiful that it’s on display for all to see.

Caught in between a joyful laugh she asked again – how much do you love me?

I love you as far as the other end of the rainbow ends, he said still with a smile on his face.
