In Wildrose, a frontier community nestled in the heart of Saskatchewan, homesteaders must be prepared to face adversity. Winter comes early and stays late, the time in between is a mad scurry to coax the soil enough sustenance tor the harsh months ahead. For Linn, a young lady coming of age, other harsh realities await for which no preparation seems adequate. Falling in love only to be casually rejected is humiliation enough. But when her love is spurned once again- this time through the callousness of a man who supposedly lives by Christian principles- Linn's longing for love turns to heartache. Where will she find the strength to ever love and trust again?
