Loved it!!
I loved seeing Emmy before the Pitch Black trilogy! This was a great prequel and made me start rereading the series once again!!
Black has Emmy’s heart.
Fleshing out some of the main characters and setting the story lines for future stories. It was over to soon. I get so caught up in Elise’s writing other books are just blah.
If you are looking for a quick brilliant read Black is My Heart should be it.

Snow and Emmy work together to obtain proof of congressman Clements’ Infidelity. Elise Noble uses humor to develop the plot. Black, Emmy and Snow’s pasts are further revealed. The additional insight into Emmy and Black’s relationship isn’t without pain.
