On the morning of October 19, 1987, Wall Street suffers its worst one-day loss ever - Black Monday. Devin Drakes is a successful stockbroker living in the excess of Wall Street during the 1980's "Me" generation, until everything changes. After losing millions on Black Monday, Devin is fired. Out of work, bills mounting and left to contemplate the future, an unexpected call changes everything. Needing a safe haven to launder new client’s money, he creates a shell company that soon garners unwanted attention with its trading on Wall Street and funded with legitimate investor’s money. His "agricultural" stock to launder drug money is working out well until outside investors, hearing of high returns from the farmlands, beg to get in. He is secretly converting dormant farmland to coca field production to pay out high returns. The White Powder Fund Cartel is born.
